Snohomish
Snohomish is a city southeast of Everett and northwest of Monroe. The city's airport, Harvey Airfield, is located south of downtown and used primarily for general aviation. Snohomish has a downtown district that is renowned for its collection of antique shops and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Snohomish offers its residents access to quality schools, plenty of outdoor recreational activities and easy commutes into nearby larger cities all while having a small-town feel.

Interesting Places To Visit:
The Snohomish County Centennial Trail stretches 30-miles by rail-trail and connects Snohomish, Lake Stevens, and Skagit County. It comprises an equestrian trail that spans six feet and a non-motorized trail that spans ten feet. During your visit, you can spot public art installations along the trail such as the “History Quilt” on the Nakashima Barn.
The Blackman House is the only building still standing from the heyday of the Blackmans who moved from Maine to Snohomish in 1872. The Blackman Brothers sank in deep debt because their lumber mill in Bradley, Maine, wasn’t making money, had to declare bankruptcy, prompting them to pack up and move to Snohomish. After settling in Snohomish, the Blackman Brothers started their successful logging operation along the Stillaguamish Lake. The house also contains objects belonging to families of early Snohomish settlers.
Willis D. Tucker Community Park is an 84-acre park with gentle slopes and dense forests to enrich your outdoor experience. You can find this park right next to the Silver Firs and Snohomish Cascade communities. Here you can find picnic shelters, walking trails, play structures for kids, basketball, sand volleyball, and an off-leash dog area. You can catch a live performance at the amphitheater or hold your meetings at the activity center and conference rooms.
Star Center Antique Mall offers the opportunity to truly get lost in the world of antiques. This mall boasts five levels and is the largest antique reference in the Northwest, hosting 200 antique dealers. Each of these dealers sells various types of antique merchandise. You can find vintage books, depression-era glass, English furniture, jewelry, and sports memorabilia, and more. The city of Snohomish is known as the “Antique Capital of the Midwest,” and Star Center Antique Mall is one major reason for it.
The Snohomish Aquatic Center is an enormous state-of-the-art aquatic facility measuring 52,000 square feet and offers a wide selection of water activities. You can enroll in surfing, surfing, diving lessons, play water sports, or join water fitness classes. If you’re a competitive swimmer, you can train at their competition pool with a diving area. Otherwise, you can just enjoy yourself at the lazy river, waterslide, and the FlowRider.
